Magnetic system

A magnetic system for precast concrete is an innovative solution used in manufacturing precast elements to position and secure formwork, inserts, and other components without the need for mechanical fastening or drilling. These systems enhance precision, reduce labor costs, and minimize damage to formwork surfaces.

Components of a Magnetic System:
  1. During casting:
    • The anchor is placed in the formwork.
    • It’s secured and covered by a plastic recess former (to allow later access).
    • Reinforcement is tied to ensure force distribution.
  2. After curing:
    • The recess former is removed, exposing the anchor head.
    • The lifting clutch is attached.
  3. During lifting:
    • The crane lifts via the clutch.
    • The load is transferred through the anchor into the concrete and reinforcement.
